Radicchio

We grow and love the round, rosy colored Chicory Chioggia, or radicchio! It makes for variety in the early season harvests and compliments our other fall crops. The deer that live in Minnesota (in great abundance) rate radicchio as one of their favorite treats. We grow Radicchio and its cousins, lettuce and escarole, inside the protection of an electric fence.
