Harvest Crew Member

Even though we have filled our positions for 2011, we would be glad to take a letter of interest and a resume from interested applicants. We never say never to outstanding candidates. Job description follows.  

Harvest crew members will work closely with the harvest crew leader, packing shed coordinator, and production manager to meet harvest goals and packing deadlines.

Key responsibilities:

• Successfully learn and apply Gardens of Eagan harvest and grading standards.

• Support and train co-workers in tasks you are skilled at.

• In addition to harvesting, be valuable member of the washing, packing, transplanting teams, when necessary.

• Operate machines and use tools in a safe and responsible manner.

Qualifications:

• One year previous vegetable farm experienced preferred

• Flexible

• Team Player

• Detail oriented

• Reliable

• Committed to growth and learning
